How to use NI products on dual boot Mac?

Hello.

All my NI software is currently installed on my internal Macintosh HD running macOS Ventura. I have installed Sonoma on a separate partition on the internal Mac SSD and I would like to use my NI stuff on that Sonoma partition to test it all works OK. How can I best do that?

I am using the same admin account on both the Ventura and Sonoma partitions.

Do I need to install new copies of all my NI stuff on the Sonoma partition? Or, can I run them from the Ventura partition somehow?

If I have to install new copies of everything on the Sonoma partition, can the NI products on both partitions share the libraries? The libraries are installed on an external SSD.

Thanks,

You'll need to install the applications again. The libraries can be shared. Install Native Access then look at the bottom left. You'll see a Maintenance option. Click that, then "Locate Product Content". Enter the location of your libraries folder on your external drive and NA will locate all the libraries to save you downloading. I don't think that works with Expansions yet, but doing it with the main libraries will save you a lot of time.
