Does Pioneer DJ DJM-S11 mixer work well with Traktor 4 and will the program have full functionality and integration with the mixer??

Traktor Pro 3 and 4 work with any soundcard, there is no additional integration needed.

But I think it refers to the midi functions, and S11 isn´t compatible with Traktor, you have to do the mapping if you want to use it, and it's very complex, I mapped the S5 and it's quite complicated.

I didn’t realize it was a battle mixer for Rekordbox and Serato. Indeed Traktor won’t support the screen, but someone else may have created a MIDI mapping. Not as good as using it with the software it was intended for though.

As the others have already said here, unfortunately there is no 100 percent integration with Traktor. You have to do without the screen and unfortunately also without most of its MIDI functions. Which brings with it a few limitations.

Apart from that, this mixer is very cool and you can use it well with Traktor. It has now become my first choice of all common battle mixers with pads and has also established itself as a club standard in most of the clubs where I play. I like the tidy user interface. The sound quality is also OK (comparable to a DJM-900NXS2).

You can find various mappings for it online and since Traktor is open to all sound cards, you can also use the integrated interface.

I took time to make this mapping which also works on TP4.

I'm currently working on adding the stems mode!

Traktor is excluding a significant number of DJ's in not supporting any of the battle mixers with performance pads on them.

They MUST be working on building one??? Hopefully with a useable screen, and, in my dreams, with a computer in-built like the concept mixer Q-Bert showcased YEARS ago.

    I can dream, can't I? 😉
