TL;DR

Coming to Snapdragon X series:

  • built-in MIDI 2.0 support
  • built-in class-compliant Steinberg ASIO driver
  • native Cubase and Nuendo
  • native Reaper
  • native Reason

Will NI follow any time soon with porting their software?

I actually did read it, rather than TL;DR 😁

Looks like Focusrite will be creating comptible drivers too, so that's good.

Steinberg and Focusrite are the standouts IMO. The others are relatively small fry. No Ableton yet.

I think it's still a bit too early to commit to this series being successful. Five months and companies are not exactly jumping over themselves to get on board.

I do like those Surface tablets or similar. The new ones come with ARM architecture.

Running Maschine on a tablet is something I am really interested but I only use Apple at the moment.

So either NI please brings out a new iPad app with the release of Maschine 3.0 or Apple finally offers MacOS on an iPad. Let's see what happens first!!! 😂
