How to play track in reverse

How do you play an audio track backwards in the deck?

I'd like to be able to play the deck backwards, I've seen that there's the REV button but it doesn't stay on, it only works momentarily, if I release the mouse it goes off.

Is there a way to make the tracks play backwards constantly and continuously?

Without having to keep a button pushed?

Add In → Deck Common → Reverse (TP3)

This command has been removed from TP4, just a small heads up about that.

Once you 'learn" this command to a hotkey then set type to button and make sure interaction mode is set to toggle (it will say hold by default)

It looks like the it is possible with TP4 as well! I stand corrected.

If you install TP4 Demo then you can test this for yourself.

You could probably map it. And instead of it stops on release, it's will be a toggle.

Thanks, I don't want to map it to my mixer (Z2) if mapping is the only way to do it, I want to map it to my notebook keyboard... is it possible to do this?

Does this also work if I only want to play only one deck (A) in reverse mode?

Maybe I should enter:

add in>deck A>reverse. ?

Each deck related command has a "Deck traget" drop menu where you can select which Deck this applies to. Once you set it ti Deck A then duplicate that command, learn other key and finally change deck target to Deck B.
