MASCHINE MKIII Record MIDI in Luna in MIDI Mode.

I have a strange behaviour in Luna with Maschine 2 running as plugin. I am using it in Midi Mode, for the settings see attached Screenshot.

When I Trigger Maschine 2 with the Maschine MKIII Controller I can hear the sounds but no midi gets recorded in Luna.

When I trigger the notes using the same settings with the Komplete Keyboard everything works fine and the midi gets Recorded.

Can somebody help with this issue?

Wait what?? OK I think i got your intention confused here… Im sorry. What do you want to do exactly?

Use Maschine MK3/Mikro in MIDI Mode to record MIDI into the Luna Piano Roll? If so, just select the Virtual Port as the MIDI Input on the Luna Instrument Track, for me with an M+ it's "Maschine Plus Virtual", for you with an MK3 it should be similar "MK3 Virtual Port" or something like that… Make sure to have a Controller Editor default template loaded an everything should work:

MIDI Data only shows in luna after recording is stoped, not sure thats normal as I dont use Luna.

Dont worry, I'll fix it and also give the thread a cleanup as I helped but also added a lot of confusion along the way. Glad you got it sorted! :)

@D.One: I understand what you are trying to say.

But why is it then running with a Maschine MK3 MIKRO Controller? Its the same plugin!

When I take the USB Kabel out of the Maschine MK3 and put the same cable into Maschine MK3 MIKRO (the same plugin is running before, during and after the cable change). - it's working.

So I assume the driver is different, or a setting at my Maschine MK3 is wrong - or it has some feature that Maschine Mikro does not have.

Did I miss something or am I on the wrong track?

It works!…. I have no idea what has changed.

Your Description is correct… unfortunately I marked it to quickly as "not solved" and now I do not know how to change the status of your post = solved.

    Thank you for your help!!!

LUNA looked promising at its inception, does it still just mix in stereo? Or are we able now to process/FX/mix in something between quadrophonics lol and 11.1 AMBEO ?
