Buzzing sound when maschine software opened
My speakers are directly connected to my maschine mk3. They emit a buzzing sound (in high frequencies) when maschine software is opened or when my maschine mk3 is in MIDI mode. I never had this issue before. The buzzing sound is not heard in the phones output on the maschine mk3.
My configuration is as follows :
- PC running on windows 11
- maschine 2 (last update)
- maschine mk3 plugged in USB (no power supply)
- Two yamaha HS7 connected to the maschine mk3 via line outputs
- My monitors and my computer are wired on the same power outlet
I tried unplugging my peripherals, changing the line gain, changing the power outlet, changing the USB port but nothing worked please help.
Other observations :
- The buzz sound is quieter when I plug my traktor s2 via line input
- The buzz when the menu for saving the project is open

I can't help you or in other words it will be long message.
It's happening in the room with one socket and usually it's power consumption and I solved my case with separating Monitors from the Maschine. I was ready to change MIDI cable's .
When electric energy power lose or got to much power in the installations can
Cause buzzing sound and it's something I experienced same in Studio with UPS it's a backup for electric energy.
I would try with 1/4 jack connectors and just using Headphones.
It is definitely power uneven voltage and sometimes mouse can add something too, mobile phones ect.
I don't suggest you because I don't know but I solved my buzzing and first time it happens with Steinberg interface then MK3 and I helped to friends. I would try everything from unplug one monitor to removing them from the monitor display and try different monitor display.

Are you using the original USB cable (with ferrite core) that came with your Maschine hardware?

Yes I am. What does it change ?

Thanks for your reply. Do you think that having a power supply for maschine can solve my problem ?

Ok so I solved my problem. I'm going to post how i did for those after me. I just ground lifted the audio cables.
But BE CAREFUL !!! Do not use unbalanced audio cables because the ground is also the reference for the audio signal so if you want ot ground lift USE BALANCED AUDIO CABLES !!!!!!
