Maschine mk3 with Guitar Rig 7 macro midi button problems

I'm Trying to control guitar rig macros 9-16 with a midi pedal controller (Midi Captain) while in Maschine 2. I've got the macro buttons learned to the pedal controller, the sound slot on Maschine with Guitar Rig set for the correct midi channel. Everything seems to work correctly but when I start play and record, after about 4 measures, the macro buttons 9-16 start cycling on and off randomly. I turned all external midi devices off while the song still plays and the macro buttons still cycle. When I delete the learned midi on the macro buttons the problem goes away.

Ok, I figured it out. I didn't realize that having the record button highlighted would record midi actions onto the sound slot that Guitar Rig was on.

    Hello,

are you sure that not the midi captain controller sends this midi data, and then it of course gets recorded, so there is maybe something wrong with that device or it´s settings?

The midi captain is a foot pedal controller (setup for midi channel 16 cc#102-106.) I only select it to change guitar rig effects then I record via sampler. The buttons trigger intermittently after several measures on guitar rig. The midi captain buttons do not change unless I push it so I don't thinks it's the midi captain. It doesn’t seem like it could be from recorded midi data but I do have two keyboards connected and wonder if there's midi data coming through from those. While the guitar rig buttons have been randomly switching; I have deleted the midi keyboard loops and the buttons still randomly switch. I tried assigning the midi routing for the sounds and group. Problem still persists.

Maybe you could upload the project file, you can delete all audio to make the file(s) smaller. Could it be the case that you have learned some midi notes to switch the buttons (?) but normally that's not possible to then route recorded midi notes to gr through maschine. I definitely miss something here......

My projects are for live performance. Perpetual funk 2 is the blank project before I add any music. The second file is after I recorded music and the Guitar Rig macro buttons start cycling randomly. I have deleted all the music recordings and even unplugged my midi controllers and the macro buttons still cycle. Hopefully you can see something that is causing this. Thank you.

Unfortunately maschine has no rec arm feature, so it just records everything if you press record.
