Can't change my password

I have followed the instructions to change your password if you forget it. It will allow me to login but when I look at my account and password it shows it as only three characters when my password is very long. When I try to load Native Access it asks for my password so I enter it. it shakes and says please allow permission for Native Access. I have made sure it has permission but nothing is working. Im trying to update to Tractor pro 4. Can anyone help me with this issue?
