Unfortunately we don't know what system you want to download to.

I'm just guessing and it's an Apple device, then you have to turn off the private relay and try again.

Or - what version of Native Access this is….or what OS version this is..etc etc.

Windows 7 has been unsupported for over 4 years now.

And Native Access v1 is - for all intents and purposes - retired with a permanent shutdown by Feb 2025.

For NI product support - you will need to upgrade to Windows 10 (at a minimum) and consider Native Access v3.13.0 or higher.

For NI product support - you will need to upgrade to Windows 10.

    Maybe.

But why the old NI does not work with Win 7? Support is a different thing and functioning is a different one.

I'm not going to change a system perfectly fit for my needs just because some IT guys have fancy to disable the older versions of programs. Why exactly the older version of NI does not work? Is it not able to handle a new way of treating the data necessary to install a new instrument?

    Thanks for your response

May I suggest that "a system perfectly fit for my needs" is a false statement? Because it is. If you want to use Native Instruments software on a Windows 7 system, then your system BY DEFINITION is not perfectly fit for your needs.

I say this with kindness and love in my heart:

Stop being stubborn and fussy about Windows 7.

Windows 8 and then Windows 10 after it each delivered a number of significant architectural/structural changes. It was always just a matter of time before something would stop working on Windows 7.

That day is now here for you. Your Windows 7 computer is a Flintstones car that you drive with your bare feet, not to mention that Windows 7 is not supported by Native Access (and probably not supported by a lot of other things too).

This has nothing to do with "some IT guys have fancy".

Your choice is simple. Upgrade or don't use Native Access and probably not a bunch of other modern things either.

It seems that you have a very simple decision to make. Good luck!

    I'm not going to upgrade.

It is a few days of installing everything again - partially due to user unfriendly way of installing plugins introduced by NI.

I can do that only when my hardware is totally destroyed.

Instead, I'll find a substitute for what I need.

    Sounds awesome.

Can’t imagine what you were expecting by coming in here using Windows 7 - the OS the world forgot long ago - and asking for support.

    Continued success.

not to mention that Windows 7 is not supported by Native Access (and probably not supported by a lot of other things too).

Older version of NA1 did support Win7, till quite recently. And with certain workaround do support Win7 even now.
