What else do I want to see in traktor pro 4.

1- 31-band equalizer on the master,to add a 31-band equalizer in the traktor pro 4.
2- Integrate in the traktor pro 4 vst host plugin Winamp.through it open your vst plugins in the traktor pro 4 above deck configure this vst plugin and turn it on hide its window so it doesn't interfere with the background process and this vst plugin will work if you need plugins in this to tweak or turn it off , expand its window.
3.So that you can add your own samples in the Pattern Player.

You can add your own samples in the remix decks and use the step sequencer, wich works like the pattern player.

Use a Remix Deck, it's pretty versatile. You can rip stems from others' songs or make your own loops in a DAW :)

If you’re on OSX, look up Blackhole, and use it to route Traktor output into Ableton. Then you can use VSTs in Ableton.

Oh hell yes! A 31-band equalizer on the master that does not affect the recording. Now that would be amazing. And it's not difficult to do.

Let's break this down a little more.
A 31 band EQ on the master without affecting the recording would be exactly what we need. This isn't particularly difficult to do in software, but hardware needs to support it.Winamp is completely out-dated, so let's not run with that idea because any code compatible with Traktor needs to work with more than one OS. But point taken that Winamp allowed host VST plugins. There are too many factors to allow for external VST in Traktor Pro, and NI has to support multiple hardware keeping each release concise, stable, and not relying on external VST.
NI will need to make their own code for this, it will not ever be a VST plugin with current hardware. I believe this was raised a few years ago. If you don't find the idea in the current forum to be voted on, put together these exact thoughts for 31 band EQ. You would definitely get my vote if I see this subject again.0 -
I'm currently testing the BLACKHOLE method with Ableton. I'll see how it goes.

You will have to fight latency a bit. Set Traktor at 64 samples, 96kHz, Ableton at exactly the same, and I output to my S4 set to 96kHz too. That’s on a M1 MacBook Air.
Select Blackhole as the sound card in TP, the aggregate in Ableton. Turn off every out and in you don’t need in Ableton.
While you’re at it, put everything in Audio MIDI setup (in your Applications>Utilities) at 96kHz, including the MacBook speakers and Microphone. It helps with CPU usage a bit.
Use VSTs that have no latency, you can check that in Ableton by mousing over the plugin, it will say « 0 samples ». You should have no trouble finding a VST GEQ that has no latency. By the way, Audio Units versions of plugins tend to work better. Turn off vst and vst3 in Ableton if possible.
Remember to make an aggregate that include the MacBook speakers as your first source, and make that the clock source. Turn on drift correction for Blackhole and your soundcard, in my case the S4, as per Blackhole FAQ advice.Should work very reliably and with close to no latency, been doing that for years. Can even manage that with a 128 samples buffer and 48kHz, and I get 40-50% CPU usage on an Intel MacBook Air, which is still usable.

cant post a comment :

Would like to see what line 952 entails in the php post controller. Not allowing some words,
The Curse Of V00d00 Ray (Danny Tenaglia Remix) - Lisa May (DMC Label)
Looks like we cant mention the word V00d00 here in this forum even if it is a classic track originally by 'A Guy Called Gerald feat. Lisa May' which really was a defining moment in underground house.0 -
@Nico_Tf
I just finished listening to a track via BLACKHOLE It sounded great! The 15 minute version of V00d00 Ray reminds me of the Hellfire nightclub!
So, blackhole with Traktor: laptop fans happening, thermal throttling potentially occurring. it cut out a couple of times, running hotter than it would normally using Traktor Pro… I'm going though some of your suggestions now. This is great to test. Cheers!0 -
Let me guess, you’re still chugging happily with a 2011 MacBook Pro. Great machines for sure…
Realistically, the more modern your computer is, the more you’ll be likely to pull it off. Having your computer optimized for real time audio can also be necessary. Start by running Onyx and also check your extensions and what opens at login. There are dozens of other little optimizations that add up and can make a difference.
Ableton may be too much to run along Traktor if your computer is old. Try Aulab instead, it’s lightweight, although setting it up is a bit trickier. Ultimately, you can always increase the buffer in TP.
Menumeters is super handy to check the cpu load in real time in the menu bar.

🤣 No could't and wouldn't be here using a 2011. But some people can still manage. Intel processor at my end runs hot sometimes.
It did actually cut out a few times…. don't you love the Apple Magic Mouse… Traktor Master Volume slipped up to Volume 10, and in this case I'm pretty sure thats what it was.
When I am live, I wont use a Magic Mouse either, no way. As much as I love the mouse as a daily driver, yeah I wont trust it with Traktor. I've looked into Software to cancel out functionality of the Magic Mouse… but often the software developers don't keep up with macOS changes…. unless you know of any further suggestions?0 -
