Your configuration looks pretty much the same as mine with the exception of the Remote being checked. I don't know if that comes into the problem or not. I have a Remote checked but that's for a special program that runs in the background so at the end of a track it loops a Stop command to Ableton. But that's only used in live performances. In my case the first control surface is my S88 and the second one is for my S49.

the remote is used to control the host(ableton) from the keyboard , play , stop , etc ..

when i turn it off it won't control the ableton, does this controls works for you when the remote is off?

Perhaps you are seeing polyphonic aftertouch data come in?

Your MIDI settings are correct. Question would be, are you seeing an actual issue or just curious what is happening because there are AT and MPE signals that can be transmitted along with note data. Requests have been made over the years to allow these to be disabled as options in the keyboard settings for those that don't want this data recorded, still do not believe this is an option

Just an FYI, the DAW input should not be set for any MIDI input in Ableton, it is a control port for control device slots, not a MIDI device:

Also, remote for the MIDI input should be enabled if you want to use the encoders of the keyboard in MIDI mode of the keyboard for midi control of anything in Live. Not something you would have been interested in with the MK3 yet as it lacks the MIDI templates but useful otherwise so copy the OP's settings because he has them correct.

i've turned off the polyphonic aftertouch inside the keyboard encoder, still echoing.. did you meant this setting ? or is there anything else?

i am both curious and also seeing this as a problem while there's a lot of midi tracks playing the same time it's seems like the cpu is higher , the midi command are system interrupts , it causing high cpu usage from what i've been monitoring

for the remote, i do use the encoder of the keyboard to control live, i think the template is fine… can't see any problem so far with the midi mapping

i've also disabled the AT in the keyboard settings (see image below i've replayed to @Matthew_NI) , still the issue remains

@Ronvak This is how the keyboard should be set in Ableton:

This setup requires Live 11.3.11 and Komplete Kontrol software 3.0.

    1. Connect your Kontrol MK3 keyboard to your computer and switch it on.
    2. Start Ableton Live and go to Preferences > Link MIDI.
    3. Assign a free Control Surface slot to Komplete Kontrol S Mk3.
    4. Select KONTROL S MK3 (Port2) under Input and Output.

Your Kontrol MK3 is now set up for host integration in Ableton Live.

Taken from that article: How to Integrate Your Kontrol Keyboard with Your DAW

Once this is done there is no need to check the remote box, please untick it:

What have you chosen as MIDI inputs and outputs in Komplete Kontrol in standalone?

Here are the settings I have in Komplete Kontrol preferences and my S88MK3 is working perfectly with my Ableton Live with host integration using 1.7.6 FW.

I'm not sure the Host Integration communications goes through Komplete Kontrol because MK3 DAW controls work fine in Kontakt 7 as well as directly with Ableton Live with a blank project.
