Songs loading slow on decks TP4

Did my first gig on TP4 last night and I noticed the songs took about 1 second longer to load onto the deck. Not a major issue but when I’m quick mixing it kinda threw me off. Anyone else notice this?

My best guess is that now you can double click the load button, as one click load the stem, double click load the original file. So the software has to wait to see if you are single clicking or double clicking.

A simple fix for instant loading would be to double click the load button.

Yes I've noticed this. I've also noticed that the responsiveness seems to be a little laggy. I'm using a z2 and sometimes things like shift browse to expand/collapse the browser doesn't respond immediately.

This is what is actually happening.

Although i was excited to see NI took my idea to heart (single-tap, double-tap and hold as i described in THIS POST), they fixed it to 1 second, i assume to make sure that everybody was able to use the double click feature. Too bad the function introduced doesn't allow for adjustment. i usually use 0.2 or 0.3 seconds for custom double-tap timers.

I wonder if there is a way to change it from single tap loads track and double tap load stems or if they are going to add that feature later

You can already switch the assigned load type of single/double click in Preferences→Loading.
