Traktor s3 - LINK/SYNC - Maschine mk3

Please please please🙏 help me guys I have just purchased a new s3 and I cannot for the life of me get it synced with maschine (By which i mean when i press play on traktor it plays on maschine)

I have spent days following the few videos that are out there. I have tried a third part midi clock but I'm sure a midi clock is built in to both s3 and maschine someone please save e hahahah 😎 Massive appreciation to anyone who can do so 👊

How can i get support from an NI technician?

Ah - I see. Should have posted this in Maschine area. I do not have one. Can't really comment on this issue.

Hey Poor fellow thank you that link is the one i followed many times i can get the maschine to LINK with the s3 but its not playing together or in sync :( I know its possible iv seen online people doing it that's why i bought the s3

I found this , hopes that it is of help : Reddit says : Native instruments chose not to implement the start/stop portion of Ableton Link, just the clock portion. So if you expect Maschine to start and stop when you press play or stop on Traktor, it will not work when using Ableton Link. You will need to use midi.
Do you have a midi cable? Just plug the midi cable into the midi out of your Traktor controller S4 and into the midi in on the Maschine if
it has one. Then set Maschine to receive clock and Traktor to send clock.

Someone else on Reddit changed Mixer to Xone:96 , why that apparently worked for that person I have no idea.

This old video (Sync + Perform With Maschine and Traktor) might not work with the newer versions of Traktor Pro (?) but there is a discussion in the comments on using the Link function and that also mentions the use of Midi I think..

Anyway , I hope that some of this can at least inspire on how to make it work.

Hey dude thank you for this i will give it a go and see where i get to im pretty gutted as i bought the s3 speciffically for this play/stop hahhaha so lets hope i can make it work thanks again bro

Arh man the s3 doesnt even have midi in or out jeez man no idea what im gonna do now :( This is not good

Do think they implemented it into Traktor pro 4 bro?

My only other option would be to use it inside of a daw man that kinda defeats the object of trying to perform live lol

Are you running Maschine and Traktor on the same computer? Don't need a physical MIDI connection then. Just use Virtual MIDI featured in Traktor and Maschine. If you use it on different computers: You can add a USB MIDI interface. Don't cost very much.

Hey bro I already have a komplete audio 4 how would i route it?

I did try 2 virtual midi ports one was BOME and the other LoopBeAudio but i could not get it to work maybe i was doing something wrong but i followed the steps exact from the ni site i will try again tho as maybe i messed up.. Cheers dude
