You have to unregister your Maschine in your NI account. You get a licence transfer ID. Give this ID to the buyer. With this ID the buyer can register this Maschine Mk3 and will get all software which was included when you bought it.

With exceptions of some old legacy stuff then the buyer get's what N.I. considers as base software for the device : Quote Matt_NI : All you need to know about License Transfer

And once the hardware serial number is registered, you cannot do a license transfer in the next 60 days. If you do need to transfer within these 60 days, you need to contact NI Support via its web site.

You dont technically unregister, you just transfer it.

I might add that you the seller also get to keep a Maschine license, so there's no reason not to transfer licenses when selling - At least for MK3's, for older devices such as Mk1/mk2 I dont know.

And I would add that new owner will not always get the same SW as seller has on the account. Buyer may get current version of SW, so if seller has Komplete 13 Select, buyer might get Komplete 14 Select now and Komplete 15 Select soon.

I am not sure, if new user still gets current version, it used to be so few years ago.
