Unable to use midi controller with Maschine software

I'm trying to use a midi keyboard with the Maschine software in reaper. Unfortunately when i go to preferences in Maschine there is no Midi tab. Would appreciate some advice. Thank you, Gordon

    Hello,

    within the maschine loaded as plugin inside a daw, you go to group or pad input settings, there you can define the device the channel and how it behaves (focus)
