Can I get the old icons back?

The new icons look really out of place. Especially considering that maschine 2.0 app looks heaps retro with the blurry graphics. I don't know why it just really give me a bad itch that I just can't scratch.

I think it's just that it looks so out of place with the rest of the app. Here is a picture of what I'm seeing.

As shown in the picture. The first row of icons look so out of place and downright cheap. In comparison to everything else that's part of the Native Instruments software offering.

I'm not asking for the icons to be remade. I would be happy just like to be able to get the old icons back on my system. Even if it's just someone sending me the old .exe files so that I can revert the icons back. The old ones looked so much better.

I'm not much of a fan neither, if it bothers you that much theres ways to change them, on MacOS it's super easy so I doubt it will be much harder on Windows, at least for the shortcuts… just do a quick google.

I swear if I saw the product at the store for sale like this. I would not buy it and I don't think any one else would either. Would you?

@M79 Well, these are the new logos and icons, you can revert to previous versions of these softwares but that means you won't have the latest features and functionality.

Yes, it is possible on Win. I will probably change mine to old ones. I really dislike those new ones. I understand NI wanted to do something new…. But this is just pure bad. I haven't seen worse icons. IMHO it would be pretty hard task to do anything worse.

Except for using very exotic alphabet. For example something like this.

Just throwing my hat in the ring. These new icons are horrible. I literally can't tell the difference between them. Not a big deal since the only two I leave on my desktop are Maschine and Native Access but I've already clicked the wrong one more than once since they basically look identical. The old ones had personality, these are just ..........

Looks like I am not the only one not liking new icons. They are really hard to quickly recognize if you use a small icons in the task bar.

I have a folder with quite a few .ico files with icons I preferer to original ones. I think I found old icon files in the directory of older versions of kontakt and kompklete kontrol. I save them in the ICONS folder and than just replace them on the desktop with properties option for each program.

It does not require too much computer know how, just basic. And comes handy for being able to have easily recognizable icons like for just MP3s and MP4s, sheet music, piano stuff, etc…
