Hello everyone, I’d like to link a drum machine to my S4 MK3 and I’m having trouble finding the MIDI IN/OUT?
I know that on the S4 it was on the back panel but can’t find it on the MK3
Thank you Stevan! Your answer is correct.
So after some research I found out I don’t need midi IN/OUT since the device I am linking has MIDI thru USB, so all I did was install the unit’s driver on my Mac, then added a generic midi in Traktor pro 3 settings ( even tho it’s generic) Traktor identified the drum machine 😎
I am now successfully sending MIDI clock to my TR-8s thru Traktor Pro 3. 😎😎
Thank you everyone for your help!
You can‘t find MIDI In/Out on S4 Mk3 because there aren‘t any. If you want to use the MIDI clock of Traktor Pro for other devices you have do add a MIDI interface for that.

hi thank you for the response, however I don’t think were talking about the same thing.
You seem to be referring to using the S4Mk3 as a midi controller and I am referring to MIDI Clock
Hello @CRS-One ,
I have the same setup (S4/TR8-S). Are you able to start/stop the TR8-S with the "Play" button on the S4?
