Bollywood strings

I have the free versions of libraries that came with the purchase of my Komplete Kontrol S61. Is there an anywhere in these that has legato strings sounding like bollywood strings? Or do any of the packs you can purchase have these?

I do not think that you used the term wrong , more like even if right then what exactly can still be hard to tell from expression. That's like if I say 'Country guitar' even if you get an idea it's not exactly an exact description to start with. If you are looking for World Music sound then try the "SOLO: World Synth (TAQS.IM)" (it says : "Download a FREE Demo of SOLO Right Now!" at bottom of page). It got a preset called 'Bollywood strings' . (Legato settings are mentioned here though I have no idea if it applies to 'Bollywood Strings' preset) Product got some interface problems though which might put you off.

Please define 'Bollywood strings' and give link to demo of what type of sound that you want.

There is a guitar preset called Bollywood in Electric Sunburst Deluxe but somehow I doubt that that is what you want.

Hi no I mean like the Indian synth sounds at the start of "The Cutter' Echo and Bunnymen….maybe I used the wrong term…the Indian / Middle Eastern sounding way of playing violin…

Ah thanks for the link..I did see this…it's not really a run…more the sliding around violin sound that is a bit like Indian singing…not sure how else to describe it…I have Arcade output and couldn't find anything much there either, nor here in NI. thanks for replying! 🙂
