Hello, I tried to install RX 11 advanced on Windows 10 using the product portal directly, after downloading the installation from my account, but the software does not install correctly. It appears in the list of installed programs in Windows but cannot be used alone. I can only use it in Cubase 13 and in the product portal it is indicated as not installed after installation. Do you have a solution ?

Hi everybody. Thank's for your help. I have tried to uninstall RX 10 and earlier versions and RX 11 and went into register to erase any trace. Then I tried to re-install RX 11 advanced through product portal and at the end of the installation, it does work alone and on Cubase 13 aswell. But product portal indicate that RX11 is not installed. Doesn't matter I have what I need. Thank's to all, you solved my problem.

    Kind Regards

Hi @Buffin I can confirm this was a known issue, but our team has now fixed it. The issue was purely cosmetic… it affected the install button, but the software itself was installed correctly.

Please refresh product portal and this should then display RX 11 as installed.

    Hello,

There was a stand alone application with it, if i remember well, maybe they removed it, but its main purpose is to be used as a plugin in a DAW or Audio Editor, thus you see it only in Cubase.

However, if the stand-alone application still exists you should be able to find it in your Windows start up menu, insider an iZotope folder

ok, according to iZotope stand alone editor exists in RX11 Advanced, so check again in your start menu, it should be somewhere there as RX Pro Editor (or similar name).

Could be a problem with you already having another version installed ? Maybe not exactly applicable (not same problem) here but sometimes things are a bit strange : When installing RX, there can only be one tier available at any time (Elements, Standard or Advanced). If you wish to trial or switch your RX standalone to another version you can follow the steps below

Else you can try and see if you can download a installer and run that as an Admin to see if it makes any difference : account product page then next to product name click the "Install and activate" then in lower part of pop-up to the right below the "Alternative install options" then click the Download Installer , and then on the page appearing then click "Download" right of the product name . : Maybe you can go directly to Download page when/if logged in ?

Exit the iZotope Product portal prior to running installer.

Also check your activation(s) , if necessary then remember to de-activate prior to uninstall.

If problem persists then please contact iZotope install support

Not sure if it is related, but seems like a similar issue on the Mac using Product Portal — I've been able to tell that Product Portal is saving some files (such as authorization challenge and responses) into files for use with RX 10 instead. So that makes me think that the windows product portal is likely encountering similar typos in the product portal configuration for RX 11. The installer worked fine, but anything coming from product portal appears to be mixed up on file names, and it is using RX10 instead on RX11 in the stems for files it is accessing.

So, example, on a mac, the authorizations are saved in preference files like 'com.izotope.RX10.authorizations.plist`… product portal is making rx10 file entries for rx11. so the app goes looking for the information in com.izotope.RX11…, but the file doesn't exist, so the app pretends to be in trial mode because the information was put into the wrong place by Product Portal.

I'm guessing the same kind of error would be happening on the windows side
