Why can't I update my Kontakt 6?

To anyone who can help me,

I seem to be in a bit of a problem and I'm not sure why. I have a bunch of plug-ins that I am trying to use with Kontakt 6 that I got from NI, specifically Empire Breaks and Hybrid Keys. Every time I go to use it, however, I keep getting an error message saying "Your version of Kontakt is too old to load this file.
Please update to the latest version." So I go into Native Access to update Kontakt, but no matter how many times I refresh or close/open the app, I see no update for Kontakt available. What's going on? Please don't tell me I am REQUIRED to update to Kontakt 7 at this point just to run these plug-ins. If anyone can help me with this situation, that would be greatly appreciated.

They both require Kontakt 7 now. You have three options. First is upgrade to the full K7. Second is use the free K7 player. Third (easiest) is to download the earlier K6 compatible versions of the libraries from here -

Once you've downloaded and installed the older versions don't let Native Access update them.
