Can i list installed items by size (Mac)

Hi all

Never used a Mac before, I’ve got a 2TB external drive and have installed most of my collectors edition. But I need to remove a few to give me a bit of space to install Arturia V collection.

Can’t see a way to list by size in Native Access.

Going into the directory where I installed all the content, there’s over 200 NI directories but again can’t see a way of listing them by the size of the data they contain?

This isn’t my main audio computer, at some point I’ll get a 4TB external, but would still be nice if I could see the installed sizes.

Any suggestions?

Also, as I’m new to Macs, could anyone answer this please (will watch a few YouTube vids at some point to learn) is there any way to get the external drive icon off of the desktop? Obviously if I eject it, it disconnects.

Google says : Try, Finder : Preferences : General Tab : Show these items on the desktop : Uncheck the External disks box. , Else maybe : How to remove the Macintosh HD icon from the desktop on Mac (Also 'Check out next' at page bottom)
