    3) As I said a few times, I just bought the computer yesterday. One of my first installs was this attempt at NA after all the Microsoft updates. I didn't have time to even tinker with any "settings"/ doing any custom tweaks.

The version of NA I installed is literally the one you provided.

I gave you links to at least three different versions , newest , legacy and v. 3.8.0

Did you grant sufficient install permissions including running N.A. as an Admin and granting permissions to install elevated when prompted ? If that fails then there is something running that blocks it all.

Did you try to run the N.A. installer as Admin with Windows in safe mode ?

I am sorry , but at this point then all I can suggest is that you will have to contact someone that has a support that they can run , so please contact : N.I. Native Access and Installation Support

At the page N.I. Native Access and Installation Support be sure to scroll down to page bottom to see if there is a log-in request , if there is then log-in , at next page again scroll down and small blue chat box ought occur within 15 seconds. Then write in chat box and when getting suggestions then select did not help when it didn't , that ought to bring you on to either chat with human or open a ticket.

There has been introduced chat support for Native Access assistance (at least daytime on normal work days) :

Please refer to the page : How to get in touch with our Customer Care
