How to transfer and run all NI plugins from an external disk with Logic Pro X
I've run out of internal disk space on my Mac Book Pro and need to
Transfer all existing NI plugins to an external drive
Download new plugins to the new location
update location information within Logic Pro x
Q1 Do I have to uninstall the dozens of NI apps already installed and then reinstall onto the external disk?
Q2 How do I point the NI download to another location?
Q3 How do amend Logic Pro x to point at the external disk NI libraries?

Don’t put your plugins on the external drive though, it’s the content you need to transfer. Most of the NI libraries are sample based so they can go on an external drive but not the plugins themselves which should be in the system drive (ie Massive, Kontakt, Reaktor etc)
