Kontrol s88 mk3 not connecting to kontakt

Hi. My s88 mk3 suddenly stopped connecting to kontakt 7 player. Kontakt sees the keyboard in MIDI devices, and I can play and get sound normally, but "Default MIDI Template" shows on the s88 screen and I don't get any of the "komplete kontrol" capabilities.
This doesn't happen on the Komplete Kontrol app, where it seems to work properly. I've updated keyboard firmware and did a fresh install of kontakt (following Native Access "uninstalling" instructions first)

I'm on a M1 macbook pro. Sonoma OS

Impossible to tell but it still might be a connection issue : There has been exposed a number of undocumented issues with different computer USB-C drivers and chips sets which might have impacted your experience here.

So you are encouraged to try another USB port , including using an USB-C to A port adapter (and use and A port) while at the same time attach an USB-C PSU capable of USB-C PD (minimum 20W is suggested by me) to the keyboards power port while also use a cable capable of Power Delivery.

Would find that odd, since its working properly on Komplete Kontrol app, the issue is on Kontakt only, but will try. thanks

Yeah , me too , but I do not know enough about the USB-C communication to rule anything out.

But you are right , maybe you just need to reset something in the Mac preferences , like Keyboard entry , 'com.native-instruments.Kontakt 7.plist' or midi settings entry ?

Also always also remember the full disk access to ALL NI apps including NTKDaemon
