I have a question and that is? Say I want to put 16 kicks in group A 16 snares in group B 16 claps in group C 16 hi closed hats in group D and 16 open hi hats in group E how would I go about that? In group and maybe instruments in the remains pads? I put a link to Mike's workflow below. Thanks in advance if anyone can help... This is for cubase 13 pro or ableton live 12.

Hi @MANMADE could you share with us a link to the video? I know you're not allowed to post a link yet so feel free to DM me.

I don't get what the question is. Put the samples across groups or pads, stack them or distribute them, have a full kit ready for finger drumming or spread it out using sequencing, Machine gives you full flexibility. Just do it.

Going through 16 kicks preloaded to pads does not look like it makes sound selection easier to me - after all, you still have to select those 16 kicks at one point in time. And instead of randomly choosing any old kick out of context I had rather use the hot swap toggle when tag based browsing sounds which is more in context, but whatever floats your boat...
