Activate Komplete 9 Plugins on MacOS 10.9 (Mavericks)

My old 2007 iMac finally died. Luckily the SSD was still intact. The SSD is now in a newer, faster iMac (a mid-2011), running Mavericks.

The NI plugins require re-activation, since they're running on a different host, but I think I'm stuck. The plugin's activate service won't connect to the back end. The old Native Access also no longer connects. There was no need to run these after installing them years ago.

Is there any way of activating these old plugins on an old macOS?

The old Native Access also no longer connects

Sounds a bit strange since as far as I know then Native Access 1 still connects unless what you are referring to is the retired Service Center application which does not work any more..

Else when using Native Access products on Mac then ALL NI apps including NTKDaemon must have full disk access !

While you didn't care to specify neither OS in question or Native Access version mentioned then you ought to be able to find a Native Access installer for relative old Mac OS using one of the links below here !

Mavericks is an OS.

You can find the compatibility chart for NI products here, https://support.native-instruments.com/hc/en-us/articles/360014900358-Compatibility-of-Native-Instruments-Products-on-macOS , where it’s stated that Komplete 9 installer is compatible with Mavericks.

And Native Access 1.1.3 can be installed on Mavericks. You can find it here, https://support.native-instruments.com/hc/en-us/articles/360000407909-Native-Access-Legacy-Installers-for-Older-Operating-Systems

These are the links you should need between the previously posted ones for your Mavericks OS.

I would also suggest to hurry, since NI is programming to remove the ability to use Native Acess 1…and no one knows if they will provide an alternative method to install those legacy product, even if they should, since it was stated in the EULA (but they removed that paragraph)

Thank you , yes I missed that , though not sure if it would have computed since that the end question "Is there any way of activating these old plugins on an old macOS?" still were an unspecified inquiry to me and appeared as sort of disconnected !

@degapop Can you post screenshots of error messages? Have you checked these steps? Native Access Error Message: "Download failed" (macOS)

You will find all the installers for our plug-ins compatible with Mavericks/MacOS 10.9 in this article that other mods already shared: Compatibility of Native Instruments Products on macOS Please install them with these installers and run Native Access to activate/authorise.

Here you can see that the version is correct

Other than that I'm not sure where to look to find out what is wrong.

No VPN is running. There isn't an issue with the internet connection.

I'm very sure that the correct versions of the plugins are installed.

These were installed years ago, and I'm sure that NA was running properly and updating the plugins.

The machine hadn't changed at all - all the plugins were running smoothly.

What has changed now is that the same SSD, on which all the plugins and NA were previously installed, is on a different host, with a faster processor and more RAM etc. (and a new/different S/N of course).

It's only right that the plugins require activation, since they're on a different host.

I'm not sure why NA is struggling to connect to the back-end.

Even after disabling the firewall, NA still failed.
