more features on tracks manager

Hello everyone, I'm a UX/UI designer who has been using Traktor for a decade. Recently, I was forced to purchase a new controller, and I opted for an S4 mk3 precisely because of my love for Traktor. For sure, being a product that's been around for a few years now, I had my doubts, but I consider it one of the most advanced computer-compatible controllers in the industry. However, I'm sorry to see that the software has been a bit stagnant lately, and we're all eagerly awaiting these new features. Mine was a bit of a bet based on trust in the brand and this program, which I believe is better than rekordbox or Serato... although Serato does have a nice feeling/flow. I really like how Traktor manages song collections, but I feel compelled to suggest a rather simple feature to implement. Many DJs like myself also use comments to organize tracks, and one common practice is to indicate the energy level of songs. However, it's often not easy to interpret these comments on the fly while navigating through less frequently played genres. An idea could be to include an energy indicator for each track, which could obviously be managed with colors, but both I and many other DJs use colors for other types of distinctions. A color-coded bar? A differentiated textual indicator? There are many ways to define energy. I don't know, I hope this advice is helpful. Personally, I believe that eventually other DJ software will also want to include such indicator. Waiting for further developments, I bid you farewell, long live Traktor!

I personally have adapted the star rating system to indicate "relative energy within the track's genre". Works very well! I don't need a track quality indicator, if it doesn't slap it's not in my library. I realize that this will not be an option for everyone - this post is not intended to invalidate the suggestion! But perhaps it will be a useful workaround for some while they wait.

You are Welcome! Yes, I had also thought about it. At the moment, I use comment 2 for this feature, while comment 1 for additional genres... hmm, you make me think that multi-genre wouldn't be bad either, but I believe they would have already implemented it if it created too much confusion in the MP3 structure.
