Native Access wipes out the Windows Control Panel content when I uninstall the plugins straight from the Native Access app.

I was able to reproduce the effect by reinstalling the plugins and uninstall the plugins from the Native Access app.

As you can see (Time & Date), This is my main computer for NI & Vienna. I still have some to uninstall still but they are not showing up in the Control Panel and other apps not related are not showing either.

You can see Vienna is installed but not showing up in Control Panel anymore.

I had a similar problem a few months ago, only it wiped out MS office

Support ticket said they wanted to put an EXE on my computer

I basically told them they can't get an installer right, how can I trust an exe?

If there is a bug of the magnitude and order that you describe , and that's a pretty big if ! , then only support can help you diagnostic that : N.I. Native Access and Installation Support

It's not something that I , or most other here I am sure , am able to recognize !

I'm not sure what the problem is here. As I've always understood it, uninstalling from Native Access is not the same as uninstalling from the operating system. It's more like de-referencing it from Native Access so it's no longer accessible via the NI eco-system. If you truly want to uninstall it you use the Windows uninstall program which removes all elements (including regedit entries) and files.

By the way, THIS is the Windows Control Panel.

Yes, I agree with you. Uninstalling them from the Control Panel is indeed the best option, although it takes longer due to the multiple clicks required. I have reinstalled them in NA and manually removed them from the Control Panel on that PC. It was a lot of work, but it's better now. However, the other apps not related to music are still missing from the Control Panel.

Thanks, and have a great day.
