Maschine Mk3 no audio input, mic or line in

Just making a note here, I solved it. When on the sampling page, in the recording tab, there was no audio input from microphone or line in ports, neither was there from an audio interface when I tried that.

native access now has three dots next to products like the maschine software, that provide details on how to fully uninstall a product by manually removing files. This information is also available here and on the web. I couldn’t find it today.

I tried reinstall, and that didn’t work, so I manually uninstalled everything related to maschine.

you have to remember that on Mac OsX, to get to the library folder in your user account, you have to go to the GO menu in finder and hold alt for the library to appear (ridiculous). As some of the files are there.

audio input bar, now moving, and everything working fine.

just posting this in case anybody else comes across this problem some files must’ve been corrupted.

there is probably a simpler or more elegant solution….
