AKAI Did it, why not Native? Maschine+ and Kontrol Standalone Keyboard/Sampler/Groovebox Combo

AKAI's newest instrument is a fully standalone Keyboard / Sampler - Native has the opportunity to make something way better, by combining the Maschine+ and Kontrol Keyboard series into one fully standalone device that houses all of the power of the drumsyths/pads of the Maschine+ (and its amazing sampling capabilities) as well as the Keyboards capabilities of the Kontrol series. Why do we need to have two devices? Give me the ability to have great pad sounds or samples on pads, and a tiered keyboard with great synth sounds, let me loop it all up, all in one device. Standalone. That's what people want.

I guess we just combine the price of a KKSmk3 and M+, so... Almost 2000$ !?

I have zero interest in such a thing, I prefer things separate so I can choose what to carry with me and what to upgrade eventually but if "the people want it" then NI should make it and cash out, all they need to design is a case, slap an internal USB hub and glue two existing hardware together... sounds like ez $ if people actually want to buy such thing...

Now... if only the new keyboards even worked with maschine to begin with.

I understand why they haven't yet, as NI is meant to be an ecosystem which I love. But they absolutely have the ability and the tech and resources to do so! AT LEAST a standalone keyboard just for playing instruments, not even production. Just for playing!

Well, I happen to have a device that can turn any Native instruments keyboard to a stand alone music making device. It is portable, has a battery, small speakers, top notch processor and a screen even. I can fit it into a bacpack. Wifi and bluetooth? I got you covered, buddy. I can’t tell you more about it, since I’m doing unofficial beta testing. But let me tell you, it is radical. Vst and all.

Exactly. Users have been calling for this for a few years now. But NI is not interested because it makes more money selling two different devices
