Kontakt Error Message: "Your version of Kontakt is too old to load this file."

Just purchased Noire and cannot update Kontakt any more currently as I am running Catalina Mac OS 10.15.7 and the version I have is the highest it will go. Do I need to uninstall the Noire software and reinstall an older version of Noire? Any other options?

You are right , last supported version of Kontakt on your OS appear to be 7.3.2 , and please notice that a lot of new stuff require latest version of Kontakt , including the free Jacob Collier Audience Choir !

Thankyou for responding . Yes I have done that, but it still comes up with the same error message . Is this because I need to uninstall the newer version first? If so, how do I do that please? I thought it would simply overwrite it .

I have Kontakt 7 7.4.2 and have update my new Noire Software with the earlier version . It is still giving me this message . I am stumped as to what to do from here? can anyone offer any other suggestions . I am running Catalina MacOS 10.15.7 .

Following...this is really an annoyance...same issues, same OS. A lot of my sounds aren't loading after installing legacy versions....Thanks..awaiting solution.

You will need to uninstall the new version first. Go here to find out the procedure, and make sure you follow the directions exactly. Dont get the OS library mixed up with the User (hidden) library, which tends to catch a lot of people out if they don't know.

After installing 7.3.2 and legacy versions this still contains the same error message

It seems the Legacy version is incompatible being 2.1.0 and needs Kontact 7.6 to work

Any link to a legacy version of Hybrid keys that will work with 7.3 ?

The Previous versions of recently updated Kontakt libraries / compatibility with K6 older libraries page says in the headline that it's compatible with version 6 so if you think that the versions on the page is not compatible with version 7.3 then you will have to take it up with support !

Make sure that you are not by mistake opening another installed Kontakt version older than required or opening a newer uninstalled library version .
