Play samples directly from disk in Reaktor

In Reaktor Player module samples are loaded into RAM. Is there a way to play samples directly from disk?

For instance, NI Kontakt has the same "DFD" mode

Section 14 , Auxiliary , 14.1 , Tapedeck 1 Channel , page 722 in the "Reaktor 5 Modules and Macros Reference English" (found in the downloads for Reaktor)

It clearly says that it can play directly from hard disk when in hard disk mode ! If this is relevant here and for you I have no idea since I do not know enough about Reaktor and stuff to actually know how it all connects !

Nope, there is no such option, not even in the Full version.

It is not needed because Reaktor is not a sample-based instrument such as Kontakt.

Thank you! This Is about what I'm looking for.

But this module can load and play only one sample from disk. Does that means If I have 88 sounds for my keyboard then I should create 88 Tapedeck modules? Is there more elegant way to play each sample by certain key?

I have been trying to look into this myself , but alas I have not proceeded very far with Reaktor. Also , any type of search for information on the subject yields an extreme amount of 'noise' (not relevant data). Maybe one also have to dig deeper into the Reaktor app than normal user programming to be able to select or switch files if possible at all.

Anyway , I am sorry but the above is as far as I have been able to push the investigation so far ! 🤔

Tapedeck is NOT a sampler, neither can be used as one...

Its purpose is completely different. :-)
