Native access updates three applications not working
Everything was working fine, untiI recently I switched on NA to discover I had to update to Native access 2 plus quite a few updates, nothing unusual about that, except three just will not update- Komplete Kontrol, Kontakt 7, and Massive 3.2.0, 7.8.1, and 1.6.0 respectively. I get an error message "Download failed, couldn't create new file or truncate existing" I have checked the existing pathways for other applications, they are all identical /Applications/Native Instruments/ And then the name of the Application. In file management the only thing different is the last / is missing, but I don't think this is the issue as surely it would affect all the Applications.
Any help would be much appreciated.

Native Access 2 is different than the current Native Access 3.91 (current release) and uses different VSTs and a different physical library arrangements. NA 3.91 would be used with Kontakt 7 whereas you would use the older NA if you were working on an older version of Kontakt that uses the older libraries. At least that's how I understand it.
For my use I'm using only the current versions of Komplete Kontrol and Kontakt so I uninstalled NA2 and the older KK and Kontakt so I don't run into mismatches between new and old and it seems to be working fine. I've had to update some projects to the new stuff that were originally built with the previous versions, but that's pretty simple as it has no older versions of Kontakt and KK available so I know I have to replace them and update them. That's easier for me than trying to manage different versions.

Standard troubleshooting page is here : Native Access Error Message: Downloading (*Product*) failed: could not create new file or truncate existing file
Otherwise if the above doesn't help :
Your profile says : "Macintosh 2.3 Ghz, Dual core i5 8gb" , which could imply that you use a rather old OS ?
What is your OS version ? and Native Access version ?
Generally you should be using latest version of Native Access for your OS (unless you are using a legacy OS , Mac 10.15 and earlier / Win 7 downloads)
Also : ALL NI apps including NTKDaemon must have full disk access !!

Thank you both for your help. Native sent me through 3 downloads via email, doing this seems to have resolved the issue this evening. So happy! I am currently running with Ventura 13.6.5. Also have the latest available Native Access.

Hi again,
I thought it was all sorted but I went back into my Native access I can still see Komplete Kontrol back in the updates section requiring to be updated again!. I checked to see if Komplete Kontrol loads up and also tested some sounds, it was fine. I don’t understand as I have followed the instructions from Native Instruments support email on the weekend and after I checked in the Native Access to see if any updates showed up and they didn’t. So I’m a bit confused why just one of the three has appeared again and I don’t know what to do to clear it.
Thanks in advance for any help.
