Great job @Nico @ NI

This guide is quite clear and the option to add comments like this could encourage other users to ask questions if they didn't understand something.

Is there a way to quote in DM? Attributes works good. A handmade quote (
…
) don't works inside DM.

@Paule You can create quote in DM but not take a quote directly from the conversation or a post.

Here's how you create manual quote in your editor

Thank you for setting the attributes on top of the comment field.
A pasted image don't shown. There is a small square only.
Yesterday it works quiet fine to paste an image in the comment box.
It's a line above but invisible
This is a loaded file

@Paule We switched the editor earlier today after getting some feedback from everyone.

We're going to re-do this guide with the relevant information. Stay tuned.

Get your head around here?🤔

Can’t help but “Pause” at the title of this thread guys.lol

Pretty sure you mean “How to guide: Wrap your head around the new Forum here”.

Where I’m from, it sorta reads like a guide to find a certain type of pleasure around here.😬

Im not offended or bothered either way personally. Got me to click so I’m here for it albeit a bit let down.🤷‍♂️😩😂

Is it possible to just include a certain part of a quote? It’s kind of obnoxious and unclear to include a whole quote if just trying to respond to a small part. Especially if the quote you are responding to is long winded. Clutters the the thread. Using the H2 to rewrite a part of someone else’s quote is kind of doing too much imo plus leaves the chance to misquote and miscommunications sure to follow.

I posted a new topic and it isn't showing, is there a delay for admins to check it out?

Thanks

Yeah that's been one of the most complained about things I think, even if it were just possible to edit a quote to remove some of the unwanted stuff. Some may say it could lead to deliberate misquoting or something, but show me on the old forum where this was ever abused.

There is an option in your preference to fold a quote, all that does is make it more difficult to read folding it away and requiring a click to open.

Just an FYI, you can paste in copied text and a quick way to quote a paragraph (tho you lose the original posters reference) just add the ">" character at the end (after a space without quotes) then after ENTER it creates a quote like this block.

Do a double enter to jump out of the quote block. Still not as slick as the old forum tho

And why is there no light green under my Quote

Flag would be the same as the old forum, this simply flags a post for moderators attention such as for spam or something inappropriate.

If you make a quote like this one then you should see a coloured bar to the left to highlight it as a quote

Congratulations on the launch guys! Where do we post announcements for third-party Kontakt library promos?

Flag is really just like the old forum, the difference being that there is different threshold for content to be automatically moderated if several users report the same content.

@GoKeez @JesterMgee We touched on this in the feedback thread but that's also something we'd like to be changed as soon as possible. It's the way it's done out of the box with this editor but our provider is already planning to improve it. We'll keep you all updated on the progress.

Thank you!

I'm sorry to say but we did not create a category for this. We noticed that advertising content on the old forum did not create any engagement and in order to avoid this community to be cluttered with 3rd party advertising, we thought it would be best to avoid it altogether.
