Trying to download and install the latest Native Access, but No deal!
I've uninstalled everything Native Instruments, and want to reinstall a few choice products and expansions on my Laptop, instead of having the storage space crammed with things I never use. After the 1st attempt to install the latest Native Access2, I got this message:
"Unable to uninstall old version of NI NTKDaemon. Please uninstall it yourself using control panel Add-Remove Programs before attempting to install this product.
Another installation is already in progress. Complete that installation before proceeding with this install."
I've followed instructions. Same message. I then uninstalled everything Native Instruments with Revo Uninstaller, including tracking down NTKdaemon and hand deleting. I found Native instruments in program files, Common folder, user/ public/documents etc.
Same message! Any Ideas?
Legion 5 Laptop Win 11. / 512 G ssd / 1 TB HD / 16GB ram / Core i7. I already had Komplete 13 installed, Maschine 2 / Komplete Kontrol . But cleaned it all of to start over.

With the steps taken by you already then it's very hard for me to suggest anything other than you have to contact Native Access support and have them sort you out ! (the problem is that a few users using Windows 11 appear to have had install access problems)
But , still for good measure here is my take on it ! (in your case you can use the Revo Pro forced un-install to clean registry) :
Historically there has been issues installing Native Access version 2/3 on Windows systems which had prior had Native Access 1 installed.
It's advisable that if you want to upgrade from NA1 to NA 2/3 then not only ought you uninstall NA 1 first but also you ought to run the N.I. reg tool to remove any left overs in registry from both Native Access and from NTKdaemon. Like wise I personally would suggest that you also use Windows explorer after uninstall to search whole system drive after files and folders named 'Native Access' and 'NTKDaemon' and then delete anything that you may find. And then restart PC and download newest version of Native Access and install that as an Admin !
If you have problems of the kind that you have described then you might add to the above to check both running processes and Services after re-boot for remnants of the 'Native Access' and 'NTKDaemon' prior to re-installing the NA. (if you cleaned there must be nothing !) And of course you must be logged in with sufficient access privileges and you don't want any security software to block your install attempt , but must also be sure not to have any malware or virus if wanting to temporarily disabling it !
If everything else fails then in addition to the above then try if the re-install of the download of the newest NA version can be done in Safe Mode ,
If "local Administrator account" is not on by default in safe mode then you might have to enable it before install (not sure , too long time since I did this)
To enable the Administrator account, follow these steps:
Start your computer to Safe mode with networking support.
Log on as the administrator.
Click Start, click Run, type cmd, and then press Enter.
At the command prompt, type the following command in command Console , and then press Enter:
net user administrator /active:yes
