Do I have to buy the iPad version of Trash separately?
I bought Trash and authorised it through the iZotope Product Portal. The purchase page very clearly says "AUv3, iPad" along with everything else. After installing on iPad, it's asking me for a further £19.99 to unlock the full version.
I bought it for £29.99 for the iPad version. The one listed in the specs on the purchase page, not the manual or the publicity website. (I already own Trash 2, which honestly looks like a better plugin, with more features and versatility.) It doesn't say anywhere that there is a charge for the iPad version of the app.
It feels a lot like I've overpaid for a plugin misrepresented as being iPad compatible, and could instead have paid less for the AUv3 alone, which was what I wanted.
Is this true?

Actually that's not the product page, that's the shop page - on the product page it does state the iPad version is sold separately through the Appstore:
https://www.izotope.com/en/products/trash.html
but I can see where the confusion arises because in the shop page it states system requirements and there it gives the requirements for both versions - however it also states on that page what you get from buying through the iZotope store is:
What you get
- Single-use license
- Digital download for Mac and PC
So it is reasonably clear, but I think it could perhaps be clearer if the system requirements were somewhere else or not given for both versions?

If I buy the full Trash desktop version, will I get the full iPad plug-in for free?
The paid desktop and iPad versions of Trash are different products which have to be purchased separately.
Otherwise : I am sorry but all I can suggest is to approach iZotope Account Purchase support !

The full version of Trash is listed as an iPad compatible AUv3 plugin. As I pointed out, that is on the purchase page, when you buy the software it tells you you can use it on an iPad.

Yes , I did notice that you wrote that , I also checked the the product page in question myself .
And yet , I still, me not being responsible for any of this, then all I can suggest is that you approach iZotope Account Purchase support !

I disagree, I'm afraid. It says "Buy this for £76" and "Supported Operating Systems: iPad."
What you buy is not supported on iPad.

If you are feeling cheated then contact iZotope Account Purchase support and ask if they will give you a refund ! I can't say if they will issue a refund or not but it is all up to support to decide and nobody here have any say in the matter !
Alas nobody here in the forum can help you in any other way than by supplying what information that we have !
