Help! Kontral S mk3 firmware update failure- I’ve tried EVERYTHING

Hi everyone! To my utter dismay I cannot get the firmware to update on my Kontrol s61 Mk3 keyboard. I have a MacBook pro max m2.

I’ve tried everything!

  • turning off the device and attempting a new port
  • ensuring that all software has “full access”
  • ensuring that the correct programs are running in the background at start up
  • I even plugged in an additional power source at the same time we their supplied usb-c

What can I do next? I’m waiting on support to call me back but this is completely disheartening, and from what I’ve seen here I may not hear back for weeks 💔,

    @Danilovell Our reply times at the moment are reasonable, my colleagues should get back to you soon by email. In the meantime, have you tried to run the firmware from another computer? Do you have a USB C hub to try out? Something like this.
