Is it possible to mute mk3 sounds or groups with an external midi controller using cc ?
Hallo,
I'm using a soft step 2 foot controller via usb midi (MacBook pro) to control some parameter of a Maschine mk3, changing scenes for example. Is there a way to mute a group or a single sound by using cc commands that have been sent from the soft step?
Thanks for help or workarounds!

Yes, for Scenes/Sections just use MIDI Change and configure your foot pedal to use the correct notes (starting on C-2):
This guide is for DAW's but the same MIDI principals can be adapted to a footpedal: https://support.native-instruments.com/hc/en-us/articles/6226428761873-Triggering-MASCHINE-Scenes-with-MIDI-Notes-in-Your-DAW
For mutes technically no, they can't be MIDI mapped, but you can map CC's to control a Group/Pad lvl output, you might need to pro version of your footpedal configurator to ensure the CC values trigger -infinite and 0db levels tho...

Thanks D-One! I trigger the volume of a sound -infinite or 0 dB-level to mute that sound and still have volume control with group volume. Works great!
