We are still without clear information about the MIDI templates, we are at the end of April and still without a clear date. I am still waiting to buy the S61 Mk3... I see that there are several users asking about this but nobody says anything clear.

Maybe they just don't want to sell

Are you 100% sure there are not some additional (dormant) sensors waiting to be enabled by firmware update? Asking if you know this from an objective point of view. I’ve not looked inside the hardware to see what is (or isn’t) there.

I’ve just popped back in after a time hoping to see news on MIDI template implementation, perhaps the beta as mentioned since it’s the end of April. Crickets. I guess there are a couple working days left, so maybe something to start the week?

Not that I'm aware of, short of taking it apart. Poly aftertouch is a big thing in itself in MIDI controllers at this price level, if it had additional sensors to enable things like slide I think NI would have made more of that in their marketing.

I would like to find out about the included software deal on the
Kontrol S series. I see it includes a voucher for any Kontakt
instrument. Could I please find out if that would include Battery4? (I
can't work out if that is considered a Kontakt instrument) Thank you

And to add to what @Kymeia has just said, I wouldn't class it as an NKS VST. Sure, you can get previews, and load kits, but there's no mapping of individual presets - or it wasn't the last time I checked.

Yeah I thought about making my own template for it once, for about 30 seconds :) Then realised it couldn't work, each cell would basically have several user pages and you can have dozens of cells potentially per instrument - and every instrument has different numbers of cells - nightmare to map
