It is possible via the MIDI Remote Mapping. Note that you will need to set your unit in to MIDI MOde first (SHIFT + MODE on Mk3)

Additionaly the X1 Mk3 midi mode is not editable like X1 Mk2 midi mode. Just a single message and a single color available per a button. Hardware is missing a mark on buttons - they release the Note Off message before the button click. Knob center detents have a big dead zone in the center. There are more issues, if you can, test it out first or just get a trusty X1 Mk2 instead.

Normally, Traktor Controllers has nothing to do with Cubase, or other DAW...

but i assume, that if they can receive midi messages, it might could be done somehow...

When moving tracks in Cubase, the KOMPLETE KONTROL A25 loses its MIDI mode link.

If you put the Traktor X1 in MIDI mode, will all controllers remain in MIDI mode indefinitely?

I understand that Traktor controllers have no relationship with Cubase or other DAWs.

I want to use the knobs on the Traktor X1.

With the KOMPLETE KONTROL A25, the MIDI mode link is lost when moving tracks in Cubase.

It's better if the Traktor X1 has no relationship with the DAW.

I'm not familiar with Cubase to say for sure what is going on.

X1 is definitely staying in it's midi mode all the time but maybe you are better of with a different device with more knobs?
