3 minute very basic work and now there is some sense and order and you also have sound... :-)

Now you can continue yourself... i also put a Frequency knob, for fun πŸ˜‰

First of all... almost half of your connections are totally wrong...

an example... one note pitch goes to all Osc's, no need to add a dozen, same for gate... and gates goes to envelopes, not straight to an Osc Amplitude... put things inside macros! otherwise it's a total mess... no need for all those oscillators... cuttoff goes to F not to P... etc etc etc...

To learn Reaktor you need 3 basic things:

    1- read the manual!

2- see some tutorials about the basics, there are many on youtube

3- download ensembles from Reaktor user library and study their structure... copy parts from them and use them.... experiment!

Damn that's cold! :-D, the guy was literally saying he's stuck and doesn't know how to connect envelopes

...an example... one note pitch goes to all Osc's, no need to add a dozen, same for gate...

    ???

Seems like a really good idea to use multiples of them, makes the structure clearer with fewer wires, and you can see quicker what is connected without having to follow some wire half way up the screen through a criss-cross patterns of pretty wires...

Primary gets messy really quick, so anything that can help reduce wire count is good, personally I always use multiple instances of Note-In and Gate, it's just good practice.

    ---------------------------------------------------------------------------

In general though I agree that Reading the manual and watching beginner tutorials is a good plan :)

That said, you should probably do the same ;), your filter envelope cutoff mapping is 'totally wrong'. It's not good for dialling in sounds.

@11nikita11 Here's a version with good cutoff mapping, and key scale and envelope amount knobs. I put the amp envelope after the filter to demonstrate that there are multiple valid ways to lay out a synth.

if anything is confusing, just ask

    Stuff to add:

I would add octave controls on the individual oscillators so you can mix in sub bass. Some sort of LFO modulation would also be good, ideally with it's own envelope... that's where you start to consider routing options so you don't have to have separate envelopes for everything, but instead choose where each is routed to... and where/how the LFO is routed... all that jazz.

Don't go overboard though, massive 'do it all' synths are a waste of time IMO, much better to have multiple more lightweight synths that are tuned to do a few things well, instead of trying to do everything but having such a complex interface that nobody ever does anything... except use presets.

(regarding cutoff mapping, the standard approach is to have a constant of -300 at the P input - gives close to zero frequency, and do everything with the F input using pitch ranges, then convert from pitch to frequency like in my example. That's also closer to what you would do in core.)

Did you checked the original ensemble?

As i wrote, i spend 3 minutes just to give it a minimal sense and make it create sound, that's all!

No offense mate, obviously you did a better work, but, I really can not spend more time in "Reaktor lessons for absolute beginners", sorry... πŸ˜‰

Again, check the original ensemble... it was not "cold", just a simple ascertainment πŸ™„

"one note pitch goes to all Osc's, no need to add a dozen" ???

In this case, i see no reason for multiple NotePitch, since 1 can do the job just fine (as the ensemble is just "one thing" without any Macros at all)...

Yes, I checked the original. It was not complete because the OP didn't know how to apply envelopes, and it was messy for sure.

Did you check your three minute job before posting?

Your cutoff mapping is linear with frequency, so the filter envelope isn't doing anything audible. The biggest change it can make to the cutoff frequency is 1 Hz. Not helpful to someone who is asking how to set up a filter envelope!

"Did you check your three minute job before posting?"

Actually YES. I checked if there was sound. And there was!

Didn't went into more details of course, at 1 o clock in the night, just before i was ready to go to sleep! πŸ˜‹
