Combining effects and filters.

This may not be a new question. Why can't I combine effects and filters into one list? The system of separation into effects and filters is logical only in the sense of increasing the cost of controllers. In a practical sense, this is not logical. Especially if you consider that it is almost impossible to remap native maps without creating a mapping from scratch. I believe that combining effects and filters into a common list will be met with almost applause. Thank you for your attention!

I can’t quite picture what you’re describing. Controller controls the software, and the software has one set of controls for an effects unit, and one single knob control for a filter (plus the buttons to switch between them.

i can’t quite figure out where a list comes into it. Could you help me understand?

I'm interested in the option of controlling effects using buttons and knobs that are assigned to filters by default. I have not yet found such an option in Kontrol S3
