Plug in not found error message in Komplete Kontrol Software

Hi,

I installed parts of my Komplete ultimate on my new M1 max.

When I open a sound in the Komplete Kontrol browser I get the message:

"Plug in not found. please open the standalone application to rescan, or rescan manually in the plug in preferences"

I still opened all Plug ins standalone (Battery, Kontakt, Massive, FM7, Reaktor, Absynth)

The Problem is that the message gives no info about what plug in is not found ?!?

yes I work in M1 Mac , it was Kontakt and KK , but iv since reinstalled kontakt and it appears to work , I have found now that Battery shows up in Komplete AND my Maschine Mk3(Maschine 2 software) but is not able to be loaded , I think its because it is an upgradable purchase but annoying that it shows as an option nonetheless

Also I just noticed that your issue is slightly different from mine as you use the Ultimate bundle which I believe has Battery included

ok, its the same in Maschine. Kontakt VST3 is not loading. is the vst3 not UB2 on my M1?

so I found out this:

The Kontakt VST is Intel" the VST3 is only M1.

So why do Maschine and Komplete Kontrolle open the VST3 plug in of Kontakt if they are still working in Rosetta?

Sorry mate I cant help answer this but dont worry you are not alone , Iv JUST bought a whole new Maschine setup and cant even get the thing going because Komplete is not loading , I tried all of the tips here https://support.native-instruments.com/hc/en-us/articles/210276145-Komplete-Kontrol-Error-Could-not-load-Plug-in-Mac-#:~:text=Quit%20your%20DAW%2C%20and%20all,to%20begin%20the%20reinstallation%20process.

and still no luck , will be monitoring this post to see if we get any help

I found a workaround for my issue.

Do you work on a M1 Mac?

And do only Kontakt presets in MAschine/Kontroll bring this error??

Well it seems that both of you could work it out. @franklyn What presets or libraries were you trying to open when this happened ? Was it with Komplete Kontrolin standalone ? How did you fix it ? Removing the Kontakt VST3 file from the VST3 folder of your Mac ?

Hello, I am also having this problem. I messed with my preferences, and I think that is what caused this. Can someone tell me how to setup my download preferences in Native Access so that Komplete Kontrol can actually read the libraries again?

Well, once you setup your download and install preferences in Native Access How to Change the Install Locations in Native Access

You would simply need to reset Komplete Kontrol's database, as explained in this article: KOMPLETE KONTROL Crashes
