Hey @Sequencesounds Here's about the Auto Backup feature:

This simple feature is named Automatic Backup. It can be found on the General page of the Preferences and enables MASCHINE to autosave your project in the event of a crash. If the feature is enabled, and in the event of a crash, when you reopen MASCHINE it will ask you if you want to reload the last project. The user has no control over what is saved by this feature, and only the project open when MASCHINE crashed is available to reload.A link to the General Preferences page in the manual (were the features is covered) is available online here: @toneyrome

A hotfix should come really soon for this M+ controller mode issue. In the meantime please downgrade. I know it's not ideal, but it works.

@Dstep ATL There is a workaround: If you copy the sound [and the Samples folder] onto the sd card in the Native Instruments/Maschine 2/Sounds/ folder then it will work.

That is how it worked with the loopop sounds, but not what I made with autosampler. When the + shows missing samples, and says it can’t locate, the file path shows where they were initially saved on the Mac HD. That is when you drag them to the SD. If you save it to the SD from 2.15 it won’t work either.

I did it with the autosampler and it worked. although i did sample an internal instrument but that shouldnt be any different.

my steps were:

1. autosample the poly synth
2. save the sound with samples
3. copy the sound and the Samples folder to the sd card in Native Instruments/Maschine 2/Sounds/
4. reconnect the sd card
5. load the sound

Is there anything different to what you are trying?

That is exactly what I did. Reformatted SD and it appears to work.

if my SD was the issue, I’d like to sincerely apologize to NI for the complaints. I’m going to see if it will continue to work. But that one was a success.
