Win11: No install from Komplete 13 external USB HD

Does not work here. USB HD is recogniued, but no install.

All USB energy saving options set to off.

Any ideas?

    You need to clarify what “no Install” means…

    Thank you for your repsonse.

    It seems that ISO mouting fails here (Windows 11). Seems to be a Defender issue. No mouring, no install :-(

    In any case I was able to open the right ISO from the ext. HD with 7-Zip and copy it to internal HD.

    Waiting for a fix from MS.

    i assume you tried disabling Defender? Just curious if that would/could work!

    Yes, but nothing helped really ...

    Which Defender option could it be?

    Not quite sure, don’t have Win11 yet so not sure if any options/functionality has changed… but when I do upgrade and if I have the issue, I will at least know where to start looking… thanks!

    OK finally catched it up.

    It is an issue with the GEARAspiWDM.sys driver coming with WaveLab 11.

    The driver blocks the physical DVD and ISO mouting (Explorer and Native Access).

    Finally some edits in the Regedit fixed the issue.
