Has anyone been able to use S-Gear 2 within Maschine 2 Software?
Hi,
I have been attempting to use S-Gear in Maschine 2; however, the sound comes through as digital. Another way to describe it is that it sounds as if the sample rate is not locking in or the buffer size is too small. I have checked to ensure the sample rate is 44.1 on my interface and within the software. Using my RME UC Fireface's internal clock. And the buffer size is set at 528 samples. Should not be a concern. In fact, S-Gear works within Cubase and in stand alone without issue.
Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

Hello,
have you tried to set another sample frequency under the maschine settings, where you set your asio output device?

If I go to Audio within Preferences, I see the sample rate at 44.1 but I am unable to change it. Not sure why Maschine does not allow me to change it like any other DAW.

Have you set an asio driver there and there is also a panel button, you could try this one to go to an window where you can change the sample rate and stuff.

Thank you! This resolved the issue for me. I was using the WASAPI Exclusive and Shared drivers as I had understood ASIO was inferior. Interesting that this was not an issue for any other plugin but S-Gear. Nice to see I now have access to change the sample rate and buffer size within Maschine. Very much appreciated!
