Update Problems with Maschine+ 1.5.1? 🤷‍♂️

Hey all, can anyone help me understand how to complete my update process for M+ 1.5.1? This is the first time that i've had any issue at all updating my unit, everything has been super-smooth - but today, i did the update process as usual, and got a "FAILED - An Unexpected Error Occurred" message, which remained the same after multiple restarts and Wi-Fi reconnections, airplane mode off and on, etc.

If there's any way to get thr update done without a factory reset, please, please let me know 😕🤷‍♂️🌌

The workaround provided to and by @Alexios was for the previous update issue and specific to plug-ins not being found in M+, so please don't try this out, get in touch with support instead.

YES IT DOES WORK. I've been using 1.5.1 since it was first released and had no issues with it (or previous versions) at all

That's great that IT is working for you; my question is about how to get the update actually on the M+ to begin with, as my unit seems to only be able to say unexpected error and failure.... Any actual ideas? 🤷‍♂️

Got the same problem. The 1.5.1 update is ending up as “An unexpected error occured” hmm. I tried formatting the sd card, erased all projects. Restarting it. Ejected and re-inserted the SD. No solution.

Although user to user communication and help is great and very nice, NI support should be confronted with and resolving these issues. Otherwise these issues remain unresolved for future updates because NI simply doesn’t know about them.

Why would you use the worst quality SD card you can find to fix problems?

This is 00.1 percent, they are physically unable to cope, and this solution may be useful for the user. And you need to contact support 100%.

It works well, just a small amount, and if you are confident in your new SD card, then sure!

After the error, Delete all files from the Download folder SD card and try updating again.

still not working.. I formatted both SD cards. I'm not too tech savvy so I didn't follow your instructions you messaged me.

It reaches between 52% to 56% download and turns into an "unexpected error occured"

If you are not technically savvy, then all you can do is wait for help from support! Try updating later, the servers may be overloaded.

Weird! I used the original SD, formatted it and the update worked. The SD I use normally failed every time as described by others above. Thanks!
