Download/Install stuck
I'm trying to install Thrill, and its just stuck. It's a decently large file, 30+ gb. Downloaded it over night, woke up and it was just constantly "installing" with that bouncy progress bar at the bottom of the window.
I read somewhere that if you delete the file folder it'll reset the download, but it didn't no matter what I do it always just says "installing" I can leave it for over 10 hours and nothing progresses.
Anyone know why I can't get this file going, or how to actually reset the download programs brain?

Maybe it glitched, check if the instrument is installed on Kontakt.

Were you downloading something else at the same time by chance?
I've had issues where a library will say installing but it appears that it's actually waiting on the next download to finish before it can continue with the installation.

I did check it out within Kontakt and it lets me load it, but then gives an error saying its missing all these files. When I check out the content folder its only 9gb of data, when it should be 30+ So something messed up happened in the install

Through the many times I've tried to install it its been both by its self, and with other things. But no, my issue is not because something else is installing.

Hmm...
The only alternative solution I can provide that can maybe help you...is to make a new custom folder for NI plugins and the using File Management to change nearly all of its locations to that folder.
But before you do that, make sure you remember where are the old folders of those instruments, in case my advice doesn't help, so that then you can bring back all the files to these old folders.

I would try uninstalling it manually. There's instructions on the NI site, a quick google should get you there. Once it's been completely uninstalled it will show up as a new download in NA. As you saw, if it's not completely 100% removed (every trace of it) then NA still thinks it exists. If you're on a Mac just do a google search for "native instruments manual uninstall library macos"
In my experience there's usually something like an existing file, invalid permissions etc... that keeps NA from being able to install properly. If you're using Windows I believe there is a log file, it might help you at least figure out where things are getting hung up?

I'll try this, thank you. I've put in a service ticket with support so hopefully one way or another I can get it sorted.
