i cant get guitar rig 6 to work in any of my DAW's reaper 4.57, cake walk, Abelton 11

I've tried everything . I've tried to insert as an instrument and tried using it as an effect. I got bubkiss i mean nada. i cant figure out what im doing wrong. im using a guitar into my interface and all i can hear is the clean unaffected guitar sound. im atmy wits end. i am about to switch back to magnetic tape recorders and screw the duigital domain. help!!!!!! please some one throw me a f$#%$^n bone please

    Maybe you should reinstall the plugin...

    @guitaerhick Have you updated the plugin paths in your DAWs to include Native Instruments plugins? If not you need to add "C:\Program Files\Native Instruments\VSTPlugins 64" bit to your paths.

    yes i have added the path. the plug in show up but i cadny get them to work. as a pluh in or a virtual ninstrument

    GR6 will only work as an effect, not as an instrument. What happens when you try to add it to a track in Ableton? Does it load and show the UI, or does it just not load at all? Do other plugins work ok?

    when i try to use iy as an effect it does show up but i am unsure how to get my guitar going through it.

    In Cakewalk this is how your input channel should look

    The input channel highlighted in red is where your Guitar is plugged in. Make sure the "listen" button highlighted in green is clicked or you don't hear anything.

    If you're only hearing a clean sound it might be that you're listening to the direct signal rather than the processed one from the DAW. What interface are you using?
