What's Up With Traktor Pro 3?

How does a company like Native manage to call software like Traktor Pro 3 the ultimate software when Traktor 2 always works - never crashes reliably and never hangs. Traktor 3 Pro is disastrous. Suddenly only deck B and C work instead of A - with deck A you can no longer load the tracks. That is a fail. Then I set up the decks the way I like them and the next time I start them, the settings are different again. What's wrong with Traktor Pro3? Does anyone else know this - are there any solutions or do I have to change the software?

Hello,

There is absolutely nothing wrong with Traktor 3. It is an excellent piece of software and i never had any kind of trouble with it. I use it really often at home, at festivals or parties and it never failed me, not even once. At least in Windows. For Mac i can not tell.

Maybe is the way you use it, or the fact that you did not configure its setting correctly.

This is the most common case you know, people get a complex piece of software and expect it to work without configure it. From my experience, 90% of the times, it is the user who is doing something wrong or, did not doing something crucial... not the software. The fact the at least 50% or more, of the owners never read the manual, says a lot i think.

I am sure we can find out a solution but to do this, you need to be more specific and if possible to provide some screen shots too

Let me give you an example. You wrote:

If i may bet, you probably have this setting enable:

Also, some parts, like the FX are meant to work like that (to return on their original state), because this is the correct option, at least for a Pro, or semi-Pro DJ.

Can you image that you are playing in a big crowd and suddenly discover that your Peak Filter is on 0 or your Reverb at 98? Total disaster...

Or, you wrote that "Suddenly only deck B and C work instead of A"... Did you check at Deck options to see if something there is wrong? For example, if you accidentally change the type of the Deck A to Live Input or something else?

As you can see, there are numerous things that can happened, so please, first, double check your settings and if your problems persist, we can deal with them, one by one. :-)
